1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide through our contact and checklist forms, including your name, email, business type, payment processors, and messages. If you become a client, we may also process business financial records, merchant payout data, and information needed to provide services. Site providers may collect basic technical data such as cookies and usage information.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to respond to inquiries, provide requested resources, deliver services, and communicate about your engagement. We do not sell or trade client information.
3. Credential access
When access to business systems is needed, delegated advisor access is preferred. Credentials should be held in encrypted password managers with multi-factor authentication, limited to those who need access, and removed following the end of an engagement.
4. Data security
We use appropriate access controls and service providers to protect information in transit and at rest. No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.
5. Breach notification
If a data incident occurs, we assess it and provide notifications as required by applicable law, including Florida Statute § 501.171.
6. Service providers
We may use vetted services such as Xero, Intuit, Google Workspace, Stripe, and TidyCal to operate our business and deliver services. Their own privacy terms may apply.
7. Data retention
We retain information as long as needed for services, legal obligations, and legitimate business purposes. Financial records may need to be retained for up to seven years depending on applicable requirements.
